Hali E. Ziff
Hali E. Ziff, a partner with Golsan Ziff & Ziff, was born in Santa Monica, California and grew up in the southern beach communities where she makes her home today. As an undergraduate she attended both the University of California at Los Angeles, and at Santa Barbara. She attended Loyola Law School, graduating in 1986 and was admitted to practice that same year. When Ms. Ziff started practicing family law in 2004, she was already an experienced and successful negotiator and litigator, handling mostly complex business and real property cases in state and federal courts, including appellate work, and representing institutional and entrepreneurial clients. Consequently, Ms. Ziff was able to successfully represent family law clients in complex litigation involving both custody and financial issues. When Ms. Ziff was approached to practice family law, she had no idea how much she would appreciate the very human aspects of the practice. Family law has allowed Ms. Ziff to combine her knowledge of the law with her early interest and studies in social and community work. Ms. Ziff has been involved for many years working directly with children, young adults and persons with developmental disabilities, and serving on several Boards of Directors for non profit corporations, including Westside Regional Center, H.O.M.E, Culver Marina Bar Association and Congregation Tikvat Jacob.
